Fanswaves' promise: to bring together on a single platform all the essential logistical tools for fans wishing to travel to and attend their sporting events without stress:
Find and buy tickets, plan the trip, appoint an organizer, compare prices, share bills... Fanswaves takes on the role of super assistant to simplify and streamline the organization of a trip, so you spend less time organizing your trip than enjoying it.
Met at VIVATECH, Fabien Selles, president and co-founder of Fanswaves, explains to us how it works:
Founded in 2022, Fanswaves was born from the observation of fans' frustration with the organizational difficulties of attending sporting events.. Selected to represent France at CES in Las Vegas in 2023 and 2024, the application has quickly gained recognition in the field of travel tech and sports tech.
How does Fanswaves work?
"It's always the same person who will do the time-consuming multi-site searches, who will communicate with everyone by surfing on different applications, being redirected everywhere and, in the end, it's always the same person who will advance the money for everyone and wait for their reimbursements. So, we said to ourselves that we had to find the ultimate solution for the fans in order to eliminate all these points."
The social platform Fanswaves allows users to organize everything in one place. It not only offers tickets for events, but also the transportation and accommodation solutions, the purchase of derivative products as well as additional services such asinsurance and visas required for international travel, further simplifying the fan experience.
Focus on football ?
Fanswaves initially focused on football, the most popular sport among their early adopters: “groundhoppers.” These enthusiasts “overconsume football” and travel around the world to attend numerous matches each year. At a rate of 120 matches per year in 8 to 9 different countries for some of them, Fanswaves "makes their lives easier and it definitely hits the mark".
Expansion and diversification :
"In fact, anything that is intended to generate passion or emotion will make sense to be referenced on our map. And so, inevitably, beyond football, there will be all the other sports, music, even movie fans."
Although football is the current priority, Fanswaves plans to expand its services to other sports and cultural events, including music and cinema. Fabien's vision is to create a universal platform where any activity generating passion and emotion can be easily planned and experienced. By integrating more and more services and adapting to user needs, the platform intends to continue to innovate and transform the experience of sports and culture enthusiasts.
