DataForEthic is a French startup founded in 2019. Labeled a company with a social mission, It publishes patented software to “ensure a responsible digital experience” with a particular emphasis on protecting children from bullying.

Detect and correct harassment mechanisms before, during and after the events:

Netethic Education is a platform whose core is based on advanced deep learning techniques and is based on the proactive detection of problematic behaviors. AI algorithms developed by DataForEthic are able to analyze a multitude of data, identifying keywords, expressions and visual patterns associated with harassment. They identify, in real time, more than 30 categories of harassment and discrimination, such as racial, sexual, moral, religious harassment, as well as homophobia and fatphobia.

This analysis is performed automatically on the contents of school collaborative tools and social networks, anonymously to protect students' privacy. Once a risky situation is detected, an alert is sent to school officials allowing them to intervene quickly.

He offers a "dashboard" which includes detailed statistics on the types of harassment detected, the communication channels concerned and the severity level incidents. Thanks to this “school climate indicator”, managers can be alerted to risks and react in an informed manner.

The portal also offers specific training for referents and heads of establishments in order to prevent and support harassment and its consequences such as: recognition of the signs of harassment, best practices for intervening and supporting victims and then directing them towards the best possible care, as quickly as possible.

Students have access to a dedicated portal

A differentiated portal where they can find:

  • some reeducational resources on online protection and harassment, (videos, quizzes)….
  • An integrated reporting tool also allows them to report harassment situations anonymously or not of which they are victims or witnesses, thus freeing their speech and offering them a safe way to ask for help.
  • A digital safe which allows to store evidence of harassment, guaranteeing their authenticity through blockchain technology for use, if necessary, in the event of legal proceedings.
  • A module " I need help " offers contacts to green numbers, associations and professionals helping children to quickly find the help they need, whether it be psychological, legal or social support
