At the VivaTech 2025 trade show, a key event for European tech, our teams immersed themselves in a world where robots are no longer futuristic curiosities... but real players in everyday life.
For four days, startups, tech giants, and researchers unveiled their latest creations in Paris. And this year, a strong trend is emerging: emotional, educational, domestic, and industrial robotics, ready to integrate into our lives.
In this new special episode of AI news, designed by our journalists and presented using AI, we take you on a journey to discover a generation of robots that talk, walk, interact... and challenge us.
On the program: Three robots, three visions of the future
Buddy – The companion robot with programmable emotions – Interview with Rodolphe Hasselvander, CEO of Blue Frog Robotics
Developed by Blue Frog Robotics, Buddy is a intelligent social robot designed to interact naturally with humans. It speaks, reacts to touch, moves autonomously and can follow a person in its environment.
Designed to accompany the autistic children, THE elderly people or the sick students, Buddy plays an active role in theeducation, social ties and inclusion. But its potential does not stop there: it can also be used as a reception agent in banks and hotels, to guide, inform and interact with visitors.
It is also a open platform And modular : students can, for example, design, 3D print and connect their own extensions (e.g., articulated arm), for concrete educational projects combining creativity, programming and robotics.
In summary: An interactive, modular and empathetic robot, serving learning and human connection.
Buddyo – The robot that connects health and autonomy – Interview with thierry Menou Deputy CEO for Buddyo
A smart medical companion, Buddyo is designed to facilitate medical monitoring in an independent and accessible manner. It can be deployed in small structures, of the isolated communes Or poorly medicalized, but also directly at home, to support users on a daily basis.
Equipped with Bluetooth-connected sensors, Buddyo accurately measures key health parameters: blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, blood sugar, oxygen saturation, uric acid, electrocardiogram…in complete autonomy.
Once the measurements are taken, the user can initiate a teleconsultation with a health professional, and receive if he wishes a medical report and one digital prescription thanks to a smooth and intuitive audio/video interface.
In addition, Buddyo offers a personalized fitness program with more than 1,000 videos nutrition and fitness, tailored to health outcomes.
And in case of emergency? It is equipped with a SOS button to contact a loved one or a support service as needed.
In summary: a concentration of innovation serving prevention, autonomy and local medicine.
G1 and H1 – Humanoids ready for industry – Interview with Stephane Bohbot founder and CEO of innov8
Stéphane Bohbot, founder and CEO of the group Innov8, took advantage of VivaTech 2025 to announce a major strategic partnership with Chinese society Unitree Robotics, specialized in new generation quadruped and humanoid robotsA first in France, and a gateway to a rapidly expanding market.
Objective : accelerate democratization of humanoid robotics in Europe, by offering innovative machines capable of evolving in real, professional… and soon domestic environments.
Two models were put forward:
- THE G1, an ultra-mobile humanoid robot with 23 engines, thought of as learning platform for universities and engineering schools. It allows for testing and integration of embedded artificial intelligence models, paving the way for a increasingly autonomous robotics.
- THE H1, designed to meet the concrete needs of businesses : carrying loads, sorting, object recognition, logistics tasks. A first step towardsindustrial integration of humanoid robotics.
In summary: Ultra-mobile robots designed to test, learn and soon… produce.
Far from science fiction clichés, the robots discovered at VivaTech 2025 are rooted in very concrete uses, serving humankind. Emotional companions, healthcare assistants, or industrial right-hand men: robotic intelligence is truly entering our lives.
